Linda’s amateur ranking was as high as 5th in Canada, before turning professional in 1991.

In 1991 and ’92, Linda played the Player’s West and Futures Tours, where she had top 10 finishes in her first 7 events. Linda won the Bidwell Tournament in Chico, CA, on the Player’s West Tour and won 2 duMaurier Qualifying Tournaments that allowed her to twice play in the duMaurier Canadian Open an LPGA Major (now the CP Canadian Womens Open).

Linda’s 1992 season culminated in being the lowest scoring Canadian playing the Player’s West Tour. Because of her strong finishes at the duMaurier Qualifying events, Linda was ranked 5th and 3rd in Canada for 1991 and 1992, respectively.

In 1993 and ’94, Linda played the Asian and Australian Tours missing only 2 cuts in these seasons; an amazing statistic that is a testament to her abilities and character.

In 1995, she was the CPGA Championship Runner-Up.
